Johan Erik Calvin Elmander ( born 27 May 1981 in Alingsås) is aSwedish footballer who plays as a striker for Galatasaray and the Sweden national football team. He joined in a free transfer after his contract with English club Bolton Wanderers in the Premier League expired. Elmander has scored sixteen goals in 55 games for the Swedish national team, and was chosen to represent his country at the2006 World Cup and Euro 2008.
