Phil Jones, has the full name of Philip Anthony Jones. Born 21 February 1992 in Preston, England. Jones is an English footballer who now plays for Manchester United. Before to joining Manchester United, Jones first played with Blackburn Rovers.


Phil Jones' football career began in 2002, when he entered into the Blackburn Rovers youth team squad, Jones signed a new five-year contract with Blackburn Rovers on 4 May 2010, his professional contract he agreed a new two-year professional contract with Blackburn Rovers.

At the beginning of 2011-2012 season, Manchester United's negotiations with management's Blackburn to Jones move. On 13 June 2011, Jones officially became a Manchester United player after agreeing a fee transfer £ 16.5 million and five-year contract with Manchester United.
